The VALIS Project


We here at the A.R.S.E.O are currently examining a experience of the author (what Dick referred to as the 2-3-74 Experience) Philip K. Dick who describes receiving a beam of pink light from a satellite node, part of VALIS (Vast Active Living Intelligence System) located near the star Sirius in the Canis Major constellation.
This pink laser beam was the medium for interstellar communication, an attempt to transfer information and holograms through a process of what Dick termed ‘disinhibiting stimuli’ to trigger hidden knowledge each race keeps within their DNA. In the Dicks case ,the VALIS beam gave knowledge to identify his sons illness.
Part of are ambition here at the A.R.S.E.O is to attempt to recreate the events leading to Dicks communication with this alien species through the use of a specially adapted strobe light which will recreate the pink laser beam and thereby active the hidden information held within your DNA

The Under the Influence Project

For this project an ARSEO operative was given chemical stimulation, then asked to create a 'piece of art' based on a pre-determined phrase in order to determine if there is any connection between chemical stimulation and creativity.
