Non-Physical Artworks (Performance/live art)
DESCRIPTION:
Audio segments are to be selected by a) An ARSEO operative b) external artistic collaborator.
The nature of these audio segments is solely at the choice of the active subject, some examples of audio segments could include:
1. A field at sunset 2. The sound of the crowd 3. Assorted heartbeats at varying rates; at rest, at panic and on the point of love 4. A room after you have left.
It is suggested that the external artistic collaborator (EAC) should be scoured from the area of artistic endeavour referred to as ‘Performance’ or ‘Live Art’. The reason for this is to request the EAC to supply audio segments from their work into this project.
Once these segments have been collected, the main part of the project can begin. For this we will need a volunteer subject, this subject will be supplied with the audio segments in a playback format of their choice.
The subject/volunteer will be then requested to playback these audio segments during a period of unconsciousness (sleep). It is hope that the audio segments will stimulate the subconscious in a way that they would ‘dream’ a performance.
Thereby creating a unique non-physical artwork which exists fundamentally within the mind of the volunteer/subjects mind. Though the volunteer/subject can recount their experience.
There are options where the volunteer/subject is unaware of the exposure to audio segments, this is to developed at an later date.

Future Planning Present Learning Past Understood
The ARSEO are currently working on the The Whispers Into The Other Project a project to create a Trans-Communication device or a Para-Audio Interpolator or if you will a Ghost Post. The intent behind the project is to allow access to the invisible memories and emotions stored within a location, which commonly manifest themselves as hauntings.Currently the device will only offer one-way (listening) communication but we here at the ARSEO hope to develop the device with inter-communicational capabilities.
That is all

The ARSEO at the 'poolside : The DreamVision Project
While at the 'poolside the ARSEO took the oppurtunity to enlist you (the subject) in the development of one of our projects. In this case it was The DreamVision Project which is the ARSEO's attempt to develop a 'Catatonicagraph' or dream reading device, the device was the combitation of two technologies:
1. the anicent (a dreamcatcher) 2.the contemporary (a television)
as this is a project which was 'in development' the subject was placed into a 'passive' position and asked to read the images on the screen.
